Raphael Tawil focuses his practice on commercial and residential real estate transactions, including sales and acquisitions, real estate finance, as well as retail, office and industrial leasing. Mr. Tawil represents a wide variety of clients, including lenders, developers, building owners, landlords, tenants and home buyers, in all stages of drafting, negotiating, and implementing various commercial and residential agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, mortgages, commercial leases, construction contracts, limited liability partnership agreements and operating agreements. Mr. Tawil has represented high net worth individuals and companies in a broad range of industries, including telecommunications, fashion, banking, pharmaceutical, fashion, and healthcare, as well as a Fortune 500 national discount retailer having in excess of 12,000 stores nationwide. In addition, Mr. Tawil represents manufacturers with respect to asset-based lending and factoring agreements and has served as Associate General Counsel for a major apparel and accessories manufacturer.

Acted as counsel to the seller of a building in downtown Manhattan for $21,000,000 to a prominent condominium developer. Part of the transaction included the granting of an option by the purchaser to the Seller, to purchase the retail unit of building, once the property is redeveloped by the purchaser.
